VENTURA COUNTY BASEBALL CLUB

ANNOUNCES THE ADDITION OF 3RD SUMMER TEAM

The VC Baseball Club is proud to announce that one of our teams will play its first summer as an affiliate of the prestigious California Collegiate League.  Also a first in Ventura County Baseball Club history, the team will undertake two major road trips to play teams with historic summer collegiate baseball programs, Fairbanks Goldpanners in Alaska and Humboldt Crabs in Northern California.

The first road trip will be to Fairbanks, Alaska, staying one full week to play 7 games with the Fairbanks Goldpanners. In its rich history, the Goldpanners have had over 200 former players make it to MLB rosters (Goldpanners website link - http://goldpanners.pointstreaksites.com/view/goldpanners/early-team-history/goldpanners-pipeline-to-the-big-time ). Our third team, the Buccaneers will compete in the LA Metro League for its 4th season. The Bucs were the Metro League Co-Champions in 2016. The league will expand to 12 teams in 2018, featuring two divisions of 6 teams. The Bucs will play in the American Division against the following teams - ATH, Team 365, LA Mudcats, SoCal Bombers, and Baseball Performance Academy.
