Three Teams, Five Games, One Busy Sunday

Set your alarm clocks for a busy Sunday, as all three Ventura County teams face off against league opponents.

First, the Buccaneers head to Ontario to face the Southern California Bombers (Red) in a doubleheader at Jay Littleton Ball Park. First pitch is scheduled for 10am.

Then at 10:30, the Pirates open up play in the Sunset Baseball League against the SoCal Sparrows at Vanguard University, also in a doubleheader.

And at 11, the CCL Buccaneers will face the Orange County Surf in a single game at Brookside Park in Pasadena, looking to defeat them twice in a row after their convincing 16-6 win at Pote Field on Wednesday.

The three Ventura County teams combined for an undefeated day last Thursday with the Metro Bucs beating the same Bombers (Red) team 9-6, the Pirates winning 9-5 over the Southbay Saints (Gold), and the CCL Bucs tying the Southern California Catch with 7 runs each.
